Joy Restoration International is a non-profit organization that seeks to help lonely individuals such as single parents, divorced, separated, widows, orphans, street children, homeless, squatters, and other lonely individuals who have suffered financially, emotionally, and physically due to life's inevitable circumstances.

The Story of Joy Restoration Int’l

Out of the blue I got a very severe allergy problem that I had to stay home
for the entire three months. Being a very outgoing person who loves to be with people made it very difficult for me to just stay home. After the third month of being under this condition, I noticed that my joy started to vanish away. For the very first time in my life I had experienced I believe what most people called depression.

It felt like the whole world sat on top of me. It was a very ugly feeling. I never liked it. So, I prayed and prayed that God will explain to me what I am going through. After I prayed that, I felt like God was telling me that I need to feel these negative emotions so I can understand how others feel. He said that most people live that way every single day. I only felt it for a few hours and I could not stand it.

Then I asked Him why I had to experience it. I believe His answer was because He wants me to help others break free from that ugly monster of depression by having a non-profit organization. I prayed for a name for it and Joy Restoration Int’l. name came to mind.

From this, we also decided to include feeding the hungry, street children, homeless , scholarships , widows , single moms and ultimately people who needs to put laughter back into their lives so they can enjoy the gift of life once again.
