If you were given a brand new red, convertible BMW Z3 sports car, would you take it? You will say, "Are you crazy? Of course, I will! I love it!" It makes life more fun, more comfortable and more enjoyable on the road! Not only that, it is one of the safest cars ever made. You can trust it will work wonderfully, as it should. Your life on earth will never be the same! Friends, TITHING is just like having that car! Although you probably are not that excited to do it or dreamed of doing it, it works in your life just the same. When you tithe, it shows that you accepted God's challenge to test Him, try Him, check Him out, experience Him, prove Him to see if He will not open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so many blessings that you won't have enough room to contain them. [Matthew 3:10] And God could not and will not and will never ever tell any lies because He is God. He is Truth. He said, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life." Therefore, whatever He says, He will surely do it. He promised to bless you if you tithe. You can expect it. He did it for me. I know He will do it for you. And when He does, doesn't it make your life more comfortable, more enjoyable and more fun? Just like driving that BMW sports car! Not only that, if you tithe, God also has another promise. He says, "I will prevent pests from devouring your crops, and the vines in your fields will not cast their fruit. Then all the nations will call you blessed [healed, protected, favored, empowered, prospered and strengthened] ..." Breakdowns, sickness, financial problems, accidents, broken relationships, and other things that eat up your income are like the pests that devour your crops. God promises that He will personally see to it that you will be protected, covered, sheltered, unaffected by all these calamities in life. Isn't that the safest way to live life on earth? It guarantees us PROVISION, PROTECTION, AND A MORE FUN LIFE.
